David Wilkerson Prophecies?

Or David’s panic attack?

Mr. Wilkerson is in the news for stating that a catastophe will soon hit New York.  Before we all start panicing, I think it’s a good idea to remind ourselves of this man’s track record.  A false prophet is one who claims God “told him something” and that doesn’t prove true.  It’s a definition from the Scriptures, and the penalty for such — from the LORD — was stoning to death (Deuteronomy 13:1-5).

We have too many hot-air “prophets” in this country who give Jesus and His message a bad reputation.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE – EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US. – David Wilkerson

From Deuteronomy 13:1-5:

“But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death.”

Your “list” seems quite short to me. It is a good thing that God gave you the job of pointing out the “false prophets.” One thing to remember, He also tells us to “touch not my annointed.”
