Dynasties in U.S. Politics

AP Wire:  Forty percent of Americans have never lived when there wasn’t a Bush or a Clinton in the White House.

Anyone got a problem with that?

Already, for 116 million Americans, there has never been a time when there wasn’t a Bush or Clinton in the White House, either as president or vice president.

The dominance of the two families in U.S. presidential politics is unprecedented.

Yes, unprecedented and pre-planned, of course.  A classic case of the Hegelian dialectic at work: the “good cop, bad cop” technique of social control through well-monied complicity.

The Bushes and Clintons go way back. They are chums and secret allies.  On the political front, and despite all rhetoric to the contrary, it needs to be firmly remembered that President Bill Clinton was the one who first proposed what came to be called the USA Patriot Act — not GW Bush – though of course it was Mr. Bush who enacted this odious and treacherous legislation.  And it was President Bill Clinton who gave us NAFTA – though of course it G.W. Bush expanded this into the “SPP” and a burgeoning North American Union (NAU).  And please recall that it was HW Bush, GW’s palindrome of a father, who first used the phrase “New World Order” in his speeches….  The legacy lives on.

So now, Mr. “Skull-and-Bones” GW Bush is providing “back-channel” advice to Hillary Clinton in case she wins the election in 2008.  Big surprise, huh? 

What still BLOWS my mind is that many “evangelical Christians” and others who purport to have faith in Jesus have backed this man and his fascist policies.  Often these people resort to fallacious reasoning using Romans 13 or some other passage of Scripture to justify passivity and acquiescence.  But consider some of the fruits of this “Bush-Clinton-Bush-?” dynasty in recent years:  The unjust wars of aggression waged in Iraq (i.e., Babylon) – all based on lies and disinformation; the great “switcheroo” of Saddam Hussein’s (a former U.S. ally) with Osama bin Laden (a long-time family friend and business associate of the Bush family) as the nefarious villian and target of 9-11 payback; the outright use of torture and degradation against human beings (Abu Ghraib, Guantanomo Bay, secret prisons, etc); the shameless exploitation (and complicity) of the 9-11 tragedy as the pretext for enacting so-called ”Patriot Act” legislation; the grossly inordinate use of “Signing Statements” that allows Mr. Bush to bypass the Congress and Constitutional government; the contrived “war on terror” and the bankrupting of the national treasury; the repealing of basic civil liberties such as habeas corpus and the nullification of posse comitatus; the illegal wiretapping, the strip searches of grandmas and people in wheelchairs at airports…. The list can go on and on.

The Satanic strategy is one of “shock and awe” — a rapist always has the upper hand when he lurks in the darkness and then suddenly attacks his victim.  The same is true of political rapists.  What is somewhat different, however, is that politicians play on the credulity of the citizens – i.e., the wishful thinking of various constituents who invariably give the benefit of the doubt to the false promises and pledges of those in power.  Let it be noted: The real promises made — and kept — by the politicians are to those who are behind the scenes, mercilessly manipulating outcomes according to designs that keep them in power.

Thank God, however, that He sees all and will foil and confound all the schemes of the wicked.  The day is coming  — and soon — when the princes of this age will be called into account for their treacheries and crimes. 

Come quickly, LORD Jesus.
